These games come in a variety of genres, but they’ll all make you feel cozy and comfortable without the tension and action of many other games.
10. Fields of Mistria
Inspired by the look of farming sim RPGs from the late ’90s,Fields of Mistriais afarming and life sim RPG with an adorable pixelated art style. As most farming sims begin, you start your new life on the farm of your dreams.
Meet friendly folks of the town to possibly create a romance, go fishing in rivers and lakes, and even dive deep into caverns for a bit of adventure. This seems like a cozy and idyllic village anyone would enjoy living in. Fields of Mistria should be released sometime in 2024.
9. Go-Go Town!
With a demo available now,Go-Go Town!is asandbox city builder that puts you in the shoes of being mayor. You must rebuild this rundown town by constructing shops, hiring staff, and managing the deliveries through couriers.
The idea of managing the shops and how they operate is pretty unique, and sets Go-Go Town! apart from many of these cozy games. It also has a bright and playful art style with so much to interact with within the town itself. This will release sometime in 2024.
8. Tavern Talk
Another game with a free demo available isTavern Talk, acozy visual novel game with multiple endings. You run a tavern in a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired world. Meet new customers and serve them special drinks using potion ingredients that can change your customer’s destiny.
Turn rumors you hear from customers into quests and befriend a colorful bunch of characters. Slowly, you’ll piece together a story of an ancient evil that could be dangerous for you and the people of this land. It currently doesn’t have a release date, but it’ll likely release in 2024.
7. Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator
In one of the most relaxing games on this list,Garden Life: A Cozy Simulatorlets youbring a luscious garden back to life in a peaceful, gorgeous environment. Plant seeds, water your crops, and clip them to take care of them and make them look beautiful.
This abandoned community garden you must now take care of sounds like a lot of work. But as you slowly complete tasks your neighbors have given you, you’ll unlock new seeds and tools to help you along the way. Garden Life was released on February 22.
6. Tales of the Shire
Although we don’t know much about this game yet, it already sounds like an incredible experience. Tales of the Shire takes place in the Lord of the Rings universe and is acozy game allowing you to live a simple Hobbit life.
So far, we only have an announcement trailer out, but if you love LOTR, you’re sure to enjoy this. It’s described as a heart-warming cozy life simulator coming sometime in 2024.

5. Minami Lane
Build your own street inMinami Lane, acozy management sim with a coloring book art styleand a calming color palette. Similar to Go-Go Town!, you’ll be managing your little street with unique shops. Customize their look and color, all while picking out what the shop sells.
Villagers will give tips and feedback that you can use to improve your tiny neighborhood. There are simple objectives to complete and unlockable levels with new villagers and buildings. You can play Minami Lane now, as it was released on February 28!
4. Chef RPG
As someone who adores cooking games,Chef RPGis something I’ve dreamed of playing. This is alife sim and cooking RPG where you manage a restaurant, hunt and forage for food, and purchase new ingredients.
Befriend the locals who’ll become your customers, design your restaurant, and manage the recipes that you cook and serve. Chef RPG doesn’t currently have a release date, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it released sometime in 2024.
3. Baladins
Head on a journey through this whimsical fantasy world with 1-4 players.Baladinsis aco-op RPG allowing you to choose your characterand bring them to lifein this game inspired by tabletop RPG campaigns.
You get to choose your own adventure by rolling the dice and seeing where they take you. It supports online co-op, allowing you and your friends to embark on this heroic journey together. Baladins will be released at some point in 2024.
2. Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
As another game in the Fantasy Life franchise,The Girl Who Steals Timeis afantasy life sim RPG that takes you on a mysterious quest. On an uninhabited island, you must solve an ancient mystery that has you jumping between two time periods.
Create your character and take on different jobs that either have you battle, gather, or create. You can also create your town on this island by decorating the town and its houses. There’s even a multiplayer option with up to four players! This will be released on October 10.
1. Camper Van: Make it Home
Inspired by games like Unpacked,Camper Van: Make it Homeallows you todesign and create your cozy camper vanin this puzzle exploration game. Convert your vehicle into a relaxing home with customizable furniture and interactable objects.
If you’ve ever loved watching videos online of people who live in vans, this may be the game for you. You can also take on missions that’ll reward you with new ways to decorate your van. Explore new destinations and travel around the world sometime in the future, although it’s very likely it’ll be released in 2024.
