Where to Find the Ceremonial Weapons and Solve the Stained Glass Puzzle in BG3

To get the Dawnmaster’s Crest. You’ll have toplace the four ceremonial weapons upon their respective pedestals. There is another method, however, and that’s to go straight to the chamber that houses the Blood of Lathander, and then try to disarm the trap. It’s a faster way of doing this, but it’s way easier with the Crest, so here’s what to do.

Place the ceremonial weapons on the pedestals around the Monastery. Each weapon must be placed in front of the corresponding Dawnmaster, triggering the weapon and crystals around it to glow a bright blue. You can also try to use any mace, warhammer, or battleaxe to activate the statues, as this does work. The longsword should already be in place.

Obtaining the Dawnmaster’s Crest is your first step in the “Find the Blood of Lathander” questline. If you don’t yet have the quest, you can start it by exploring the lower sections of the Rosymorn Monastery, specifically around the large statue located near the main entrance.

Stained-Glass Window Location

To find the room with the Stained Glass window, you’ll need to reach the upper floors of the Rosymorn Monastery. The easiest route would be through theboarded-up hole in the wallnear the Rosymorn Monastery waypoint.

Jump up the cliffside and head towards the Monastery. Break the wooden boards off by attacking them, but be careful – the next room is filled withGremishkas. Once you’ve taken care of them, head through the large double doors on the east side of the room and follow the path north. You’ll find the room with the Stained Glass window. See the map below for its location:

Here’s how to get each Ceremonial weapon and solve the Stained Glass puzzle:

1) Ceremonial Longsword Location

The Ceremonial Longsword is the easiest of the bunch, asit’s already sitting in its rightful place upon entering the room. You won’t have to worry about this weapon, though you’ll notice it loses its glow once removed from the pedestal or placed on a different one, indicating that each weapon has a specific resting spot.

2) Ceremonial Battleaxe Location

The Ceremonial Battleaxe is found at the(X:103, Y:45) coordinateson the same floor as the stained glass.

Head south from the stained glass until you reach a large hole in the floor. Jump over the hole and walk east to find a locked, enchanted door. Lockpick the door and either jump over the beds or destroy them to enter the room.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Ceremonial Axe Location for Dawnmaster’s Crest

You’ll find the Ceremonial Battleaxe on the ground next to aGuardian of Faith sentry, which won’t give up the axe without a fight. It’s pretty easy to dispose of as long as you stand outside of its radiant circle, however. I just kept my distance and pelted it with arrows until it fell apart.

3) Ceremonial Warhammer Location

The Ceremonial Warhammer is restinginside the Eagle’s nestatop the roof of the Monastery. You’ll find it at the(X:80, Y:40) coordinates.

Like the Battleaxe, you’ll have a fight on your hands to claim the Warhammer—unless you’re stealthy enough to grab it without the Eagle mother noticing. Unfortunately, stealth and diplomacy didn’t work in my favor, and I was forced to kill the Eagles to get the axe. Quite a stain on my Druid’s animal-loving record, but hey, sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

4) Rusty Mace Location

The last weapon isn’t as ceremonious as the other three but rather quite worn. The Rusty Mace is located on the ground floor of the Monastery at the(X:87, Y:32) coordinatesnext to a skeleton.

If you’ve opened the main entrance of the Monastery, head through and north until you reach a largeBlood of Lathander statue. Head east, and you’ll find an oak door on your right. The Rusty Mace is inside that room.
