The upcoming 2D side-scroller Action-RPG Black Witchcraft has now been delayed to end of September.

Black Witchcraft Upcoming 2D Gothic RPG Gets Delayed to September 27th

Fans of the gothic Action-RPG Black Witchcraft will need to wait a little longer for its release as developer Quattro Gear announces it has now been delayed to September 27th. Originally suppose to launch on September 8th next week, the title has been pushed to the end of the month.

In case you missed it Black Witchcraft is an Edgar Allan Poe-inspiredAction-RPGabout the last witcher hunters and the fall of the House of Usher. Destined to fall, the house has sealed away the powerful witch called Lenore. Overtime Roderick Usher has been driven insane by the power of Lenore, who has no mercy even for his own family. His younger sister Madeline was about to meet her demise when she is saved by a Raven. This leads her to the Great Witch Ligeia who holds the power of Black Witchcraft.

In this 2D side-scroller journey players will play as Ligeia, aided with a suitcase of demonic power called Dullahan. Using these magic skills you’re able to destroy enemies as well as acquire traits by overcoming demons. Collect a special ability known to ancient witches as Stigma, with a choice of 30 enhanced skills that can be selected from.

Craft potions to distribute Stat Points gaining from leveling up and doing away with demons. Along the way meet a variety of characters and unshroud the mysteries of the House of Usher. It doesn’t get quite as gothic as Poe and the artstyle kind of reminds me of Blackstained Ritual of the Night but completely in 2D.
