Latest trailer shown during Sony’s State of Play and Microsoft Xbox Inside, Children of Morta got a new trailer taking a closer look at the Bergsons family, the stars of the fighting brood of the roguelite RPG.
Children of Morta Latest Trailer Shares More About the Bergsons Family
Children of Mortaan action-RPG by developer Dead Mage releases on PC a few weeks ago, and will be coming to consoles shortly. A new trailer was released during Sony and Microsoft’s game updates, featuring the family that fights together.
The new trailer introduces the entire Bergson family, as they hack and slash their way in this roguelite with strong RPG influences. There six family members each with their own unique loadout. The father known as John, takes up a sword and shield, and can brawl most encounters. The eldest of the siblings, daughter Linda is skilled with archery, striking from afar.
There is also Kevin a rogue, Lucy a fire mage, Mark a martial artist and Joey who likes to smash things. You can customise your characters by gaining items from procedurally generated dungeons or from one of the merchants.
Children of Mortaputs players in the shoes of the Bergsons, a family of heroic fighters who must push back the Corruption that has now begun engulfing their world. Each member of the Bergsons have their own personal fighting style and individual personalities. You can experience each playstyle by choosing a different family member each run if you so wish. It’s a family affair as grandma and uncle will help you upgrade your gear and attributes.
The title is a story-driven game withrogue-litefeatures done in a pixel graphic style with plenty of beautiful detail. The world around you is forever changing, as the Corruption impacts the forest, dungeons and even temples. Each playthrough sets to provide a different experience each time.
