Palworld crashed into the survival genre scene in style last year and has been one of the most enjoyable cooperative experiences as well. It’s now available on multiple platforms, including PS5, which it skipped at launch.
One of the most requested online features was the ability to play with friends across platforms, and the developers at PocketPair are finally adding crossplay support to Palworld later this month.

Palworld Is Finally Getting Crossplay Support
PocketPair confirmed on X andSteamthat the previously announced crossplay update is coming to all platforms in March 2025.
This will allow PC, Mac, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 users to play together along with the ability to move Pals between worlds. In addition to the update, Palworld is also currently discounted by 25% onSteamand thePS Store.

If you have been waiting for crossplay support, it’s time to prepare and make use of the discount. The discount isn’t available on Xbox consoles, but Palworld is already part of the Game Pass subscription and has been since its launch.
Complete patch notes for the crossplay update will be available on the launch date. The developers haven’t shared an exact date for this update, but we’re already halfway through March, and the update should be right around the corner.
Multiplayer is a big part of the Palworld experience and it’s always been fairly seamless. Players can work together or against each other in the PvP mode, though most prefer the PvE aspect of Palworld. However, since this has always been gated to the platform players are on, crossplay was always heavily requested, especially now that it’s on PS5 as well.
In terms of content and updates, PocketPair has done a commendable job of keeping the Palworld experience freshdespite its legal issueswith Nintendo. We expect the game to continue growing and the added crossplay feature should make it easier for players across platforms to connect and survive together.
While you prepare for crossplay, why notcheck out the fastest mountsyou can get in Palworld and where you canfind Bjorn.

When he isn’t spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he’s probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
