Guess who’s back again… It’s Frank… Frank West. Capcom has announcedDead Rising Deluxe Remastered, which is an updated version of the 2006 title for modern consoles, with a look at what is in store (or in this case, stores) for longtime fans. Bringing a classic such asDead Risingback from the deadis exciting to see, since the franchise is known for its sandbox-style gameplay. Given the advancements in technology since the Xbox 360, it will be exciting to see how the gameplay looks and feels when more information comes out on it.

Take a picture, it’ll last longer

As shown in the trailer,Dead Rising Deluxe Remasterbrings us back to the shopping mall with our famed freelance photojournalist, Frank West. Looking for his next big scoop, he goes to the mall to learn more about the strange events going on inside. As you may have already guessed, zombies have infested the place, with only a few survivors still alive, leaving Frank up to the task of rescuing them. One quirk of the series is its bosses, who are typically violent psychopaths who are quite the characters themselves.

TheDead Risingseries’ last main installment was in 2016, with the release ofDead Rising 4, which brought back Frank West. The game was met with mixed reviews, with the overall quality and slight technical problems being the main complaints. Frank West has been a well-known staple of theDead Risingfranchise, with his rough and gritty character being at the forefront of this zombie-infested series. He has even made appearances in otherDead Risingtitles and inMarvel vs. Capcom 3.
