If there’s one thing that Ubisoft does well with their multitude of franchises, it’s creating dense environments filled with exploration. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is no different, as the vast world the studio has created is ripe for adventure. Whether it’s the various unique enemies you’ll come across on your adventures or investigating reported Yokai in the area, there feels like an overwhelming amount of content to dig your teeth into.

One such activity is participating in the numerous temples and shrines. Japan is a country of tradition and religion, at least back in the 1500s when Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place. If you’ve ever been to the country, you’ll know that the number of temples and shrines feels infinite, and in Shadows, it’s well represented with some of the most iconic structures in the Kansai region.

Purpose of Temples & Shrines

With each of the temples and shrines, there will either be lost pages that need collecting or shrines that need to be prayed to. Doing so will unlock a good amount of EXP along with a Knowledge point that can be used to upgrade Nao and Yasuke. Some of these locations have surprisingly well-hidden collectibles, but with this guide you’ll have no problem finding them.

The Enryakuji Temple is found in the Omi region of Japan. It is located in the westernmost section of the area.

The Enryakuji Temple is in a hostile territory, so stealth or combat will be required to obtain these items.

Lost Page Locations

Lost Page #1

Enryakuji Temple is one of the biggest in all of Assassin’s Creed Shadows only because it is broken down into around three separate areas. Despite being pretty run down, it’s very inhabited, specifically with hostile enemies. Because of this, proceeding with caution is heavily advised. For the first Lost Page, if you’re coming in from the east, you will have to traverse all the way to the first open area with a rectangular structure with various small hallways. Be sure to traverse the rooftops as the first page is found in the south most ruined structure on the second floor.

Lost Page #2

The second Lost Page is a little trickier to obtain only because the area is far more populated. Thus, you should be climbing on the rooftops to avoid being seen, otherwise collecting these will become a lot tougher. Regardless, make your way all the way to the main temple in the south, specifically where the “Enryakuji Temple” text and icon are on the map. From here, head into the east most building and on the top floor, the roof will be broken down. Hop in here to collect the second Lost Page.

Lost Page #3

The final Lost Page isn’t too far off from the last one as it’s located on the text and icon of “Enryakuji Temple” on the map. While the second Lost Page is found to the east of this main temple, the third and final one is located on the west side. This is without doubt the most challenging Lost Page to find, only because it’s not found in a convenient place. The last two were up high away from the enemies, while this one is located on ground level. In fact, there is one patrolling enemy within the building you need to locate. You’re able to drop from the broken ceiling and take out the patrol beforehand, but regardless, the Lost Page is located on a small table next to a light.
