While Gwyneth Paltrow might be one of the more popular actors to star in the MCU, who rose to prominence in the mid-90s, theSevenStar’s personal life remains untouched by her stardom. Paltrow, who shares two children, Moses and Apple, with ex-husband Chris Martin, has mostly kept her private life away from the media, even restricting her kids to use social media.
However, the Oscar-winning actor hasn’t backed away from speaking about her bond with the kids and recalled an embarrassing moment, when Apple and Moses left her stranded on a sidewalk.

Gwyneth Paltrow Admitted She Wasn’t Cool Enough for Her Kids
During her appearance onThe Ellen DeGeneres ShowalongsideJohnny Depp,Gwyneth Paltrowrevealed that her kids didn’t find her as cool as she thought. While the Oscar-winning star has accomplished several impressive feats throughout her career, she recounted that during a holiday, her kids didn’t want to be with her and left her alone on a sidewalk. She jokingly recalled,
“Well, I thought they thought I was cool until we were just on Holiday and my son asked me not to walk near him on the sidewalk, which felt great. And my daughter was like, ‘Bye Mom, we’re going to brunch without you, bye’ and I was like, ‘You realize I’m here alone like if you guys go’. They’re like, ‘We’re fine we’re going by ourselves’.”
She further recounted asking Moses, who wasn’t keen on walking next to her,“You know like I’m like in movies and stuff”, to which her son responded,“Exactly”.

Gwyneth Paltrow on Why She Isn’t Onboard With Her Kids Using Social Media
Gwyneth Paltrow, who took a brief hiatus from social media back in August, explained why she has forbidden her kids from using Social Media. She explained on Rob Lowe’s“Literally!” podcast:
“I try to keep them out of the public eye as much as possible. You know, now it’s different.”
TheIron ManStar also revealed that her kids were once adamant about starting a YouTube channel, to which theShallow HalStar’s response was“No, you can’t. Absolutely not.”

Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t the lone A-lister, who starred in a major Superhero franchise, whose kids aren’t engrossed in her stardom, as Amy Adams also had a similar experience. Like Marvel Star Paltrow, Adams’ daughter too wasn’t interested in her mom’s acting feats, as she was just“mama to her”.
