How to Copy LinkedIn Post Text on Android

Method 1: Using Google Photos App

This method lets you copy unselectable text from LinkedIn posts on all Android phones.

1.Open the LinkedIn app and take a screenshot of the post whose text you want to copy.

2.Now, openGoogle Photosapp on your phone.

3.Tap on theLibrarytab at the bottom and go to theScreenshotsfolder.

4.Open the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.

5.Tap on theLensbutton at the bottom and go to theTexttab.

6.Tap onSelect allto select all the text in the image.

  1. Tap anywhere on the post text and select the desired text using the selection bars. Then, tap onCopy text.

The LinkedIn post’s text will be copied to your phone’s clipboard from where you can paste it anywhere.

Method 2: Copy LinkedIn Post Content on Samsung

Samsung Galaxy phones running on OneUI 4.1.1+ come with a native feature to extract and copy text from images. We will be using the same to copy text from a LinkedIn post.

1.Take a screenshotof the LinkedIn post whose text you want to extract on your Samsung Galaxy phone. If it’s a long post, you might have to take multiple screenshots.

2.Launch the Samsung Gallery app on your phone and open the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.

3.Tap on theTicon at the bottom-right corner. All the text on the screenshot will be highlighted.

4.Tap anywhere on the highlighted text and use the selection bars to select the desired portion of the text from the post. Then, tap onCopybutton in the pop-up bar to copy text to theSamsung phone’s clipboard. That’s it. You have successfully copied the text from a LinkedIn post on a Samsung Galaxy phone.

5.Open any note-taking app and paste the copied text.

Method 3: Copy LinkedIn Post Text on Google Pixel Phones

If you own a Google Pixel phone, follow these steps to copy text from a LinkedIn post:

1.Open the LinkedIn post whose text you want to copy.

2.Now, swipe up from the bottom edge of your Pixel phone to open the Recent apps screen.

3.Tap on theSelectbutton.

4.All the text will be highlighted. Tap anywhere and select the text that you want to copy. Then, tap on theCopybutton.

5.Open a note-taking app like Google Keep and paste the copied text.

Method 4: Using Universal Copy App

If your Android phone doesn’t support the above methods, you can use a third-party app to copy text from a LinkedIn post.

1.Install theUniversal Copy appon your phone.

2.Open the app and grant the necessary permissions. You will see the app’s notification will show up in the notification panel.

3.Launch the LinkedIn app and go to the post whose content you want to copy.

4.Open the notification panel of your phone and tap on theUniversal copynotification. ensure that the LinkedIn app is in the background.

5.As soon as you tap on the notification, all the text and images on the LinkedIn post will be highlighted. Tap on the content that you want to copy and press theCopybutton at the bottom.

How to Copy LinkedIn Post Text on iPhone

If your iPhone supports theLive Text feature, you can use the same to extract and copy unselectable text from LinkedIn posts.

1.Open the LinkedIn app on your iPhone and take a screenshot of the post.

2.Open the Apple Photos app and go to the screenshot of the LinkedIn post.

3.Tap on theLive Texticon at the bottom-right corner to select all the text in the screenshot.

4.Then, tap anywhere on the text and select the LinkedIn post content. Finally, tap on theCopybutton.

That’s it. The LinkedIn post’s text will be copied to your iPhone’s clipboard. Paste it into a note-taking or messaging app like WhatsApp.

How to Copy LinkedIn Post URL on Android and iPhone

Instead of copying the text, you can easily share the LinkedIn post with others bycopying its link. Follow these steps to copy a LinkedIn post link on mobile:

1.Open the LinkedIn app on your phone and go to the post whose link you want to copy.

2.Tap on thekebab menu (three-dot icon)at the top of the post and selectShare via.

3.The share screen will open. Select the app where you want to share the post link. Or, tap onCopy URL(Android) andCopy(iPhone) if you want to copy the post’s link to your phone’s clipboard.

4.To send the post to a LinkedIn user, tap on theSendbutton at the bottom of the post. The New message screen will open. Search for the user to whom you want to send the link.

How to Copy LinkedIn Post URL on PC

1.OpenLinkedin.comin a browser on your computer.

2.Go to the post whose link you want to copy.

3.Click on thekebab menu (three-dot icon)at the top of the post and selectCopy linkto post from the menu. The post’s link will be copied to your clipboard. You can paste and share it anywhere that you like.

4.In case you want to send the post to someone on LinkedIn itself, click on theSendbutton at the bottom of the post and search for the desired person.
