Google’s Calendar app on the web just got its first major redesign since 2011.
Accordingto the search giant, the new-look Calendar is prettier and aligned with its Material Design scheme with responsive layout and other new features.

The new look for Calendar is gradually being rolled out to Google Apps users first, but you can enable it now on your personal Google Account by following the instructions provided below.
How to use Google Calendar’s Material Design
1)On your computer, visitcalendar.google.comand sign in with your account.
2)Click the buttonUse New Calendarin the top-right corner.
3)ChooseUpgrade Nowfrom the popup menu.
NOTE:If you cannot see this option, the new Calendar isn’t available for your account yet.
That’s it, enjoy your new Google Calendar!
For company accounts, you’ll need to ask your administrator to enable it.
According to Google, your administrator can navigate toApps → G Suite → Calendar → New Calendarto set when they’d like users to access the new version of Google Calendar.

How to bring back the old Google Calendar
To switch back to the old design for Google Calendar on the web, do the following:
2)Click theSettingscog.
3)Choose the option labeledBack to classic Calendarfrom the menu.
About Calendar’s new look
Aside from Material Design with responsive layout that auto-adjusts to your screen size, the revamped Calendar includes new features for business users, like seeing conference room details when booking a room, adding rich formatting and hyperlinks to invites, managing multiple calendars side by side in Day view and more.
Other tidbits include the ability to see contact information of meeting participants when hovering over their names in an invite, a new way to view and restore deleted items in one place in case you accidentally delete a meeting and more accessible Day/Week/Month views with better compatibility with screen readers.
