We were all excited about meeting TR3-VR in Zero Hour, but I don’t think anyone expected the next area to be so difficult. Here’s how to escape the Vanguard Vault in Zero Hour Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 Zero Hour: How to beat the Vanguard Vault
There are two parts to the Vanguard Vault. There’s a dark area with amap on the wall(pictured above). Memorize what you see as best you can. I’ve completed this mission a couple of times, and the map seems to stay the same. This gives you information on how to pass the area right after leaving the Vanguard Vault.
Once you’re done exploring, head to these pipes on the wall (pictured above) andstep on the gray tiles on the ground. Look forthe diamond symbolon the wall to the right of the pipes. The floor acts like a pressure plate, and the wall with the pipes will open.

How to escape the fire room in Destiny 2 Zero Hour
The door will shut behind you when you enter the vault, and a large empty room stands before you. Remember that maze picture on the wall? That image shows the safe way across the room. You instantly die if youwalk on the wrong panels or try to jump across.
I’ve experimented with Grapple Grenades and an Eager Edge Sword, but you need totraverse the room the intended way.

Unfortunately, you’re able to’t return to check the map, so I’ve drawn the route in the image above. As long as you step on the panels shown, you should be fine. Keep in mind, if you’re playing with friends, you’ll kill everyone in the room if you mess up.
You’re ready toface the final bossonce you’vesuccessfully traversed the kill room. If you have 10 minutes to spare at this point, you should comfortably complete the mission with a full fire team.

If you survived against TR3-VR by the skin of your teeth, keep in mind there’sa fancy Triumph up for grabsif youescape without dying.
