Red Candle Games is back withNine Sols, a 2D action platformer inspired by Sekiro’s deflection system. It isn’t very demanding to run on PC, and has a decent amount of options to adjust, and support for multiple input types. However, Nine Sols does not have proper ultrawide support, and you’ll see black bars at the sides. Here is how you can fix these problems using a handy tool.
Fixing Nine Sols Ultrawide Issues on PC
Toplay Nine Sols at ultrawide, you need touse the Borderless Gaming toolfrom Codeusa.
This forces the game to render at borderless fullscreen mode and removes the black bars from the sides in many games developed on Unity. Setting it up is pretty simple, and I’ll explain the steps in detail below.

That’s all you need to do, and Nine Sols will automatically switch to the borderless fullscreen mode with the black bars removed. Keep in mind that some UI elements might not render correctly, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for the most part.

This is how Nine Sols looks with and without Borderless Gaming.
We really hope that the developers consider adding official support for ultrawide resolutions in a future update. While it’s still not as common, ultrawide monitors are getting popular by the year, and a lack of proper support results in black bars that get in the way of immersion.
