Epic Games is giving away another free Fortnite skin to celebrate the huge update toLEGO Fortnite Odyssey, the survival crafting game that received a bit of a name change. Here is how to get the free Mr. Dappermint skin in Fortnite.
How to Get the Mr Dappermint Skin for Free in Fortnite
Fortnite players can get the Mr. Dappermint skin for free byconnecting their Epic Games account with a LEGO Insiders account. Players who have already connected their accounts before to get thefree Explorer Emilie outfitwill not have to do anything extra and the new skin will be delivered in the game on or after Dec. 10.
Players can register for a LEGO Insiders account at theofficial LEGO websiteand iscompletely free to join. The membership gives points for buying LEGO products, special discounts, limited-time gifts, and early access to buy selected sets before the public can.
The LEGO insiders account can be registered with an Apple, Epic Games, Facebook, or Google account. Despite having an Epic Games account as a login, you will still have tomanually link the two accounts together on Epic’s end.
This can be done by visiting yourEpic Games accountused for Fortnite in a web browser. SelectAccount in the dropdown menu beneath the profile pictureto get to your user settings.
Then chooseApps and Accountsfrom the sidebar to see all of your connected accounts. Sign into your Lego Insiders membership under Lego Account. Your username will show in the menu after following the connection process.
Once both accounts are connected, open Fortnite, and theMr. Dappermint skin can be claimed once logged in. The promotion gives two skins with one for the Fortnite Battle Royale modes and one for the LEGO modes. No expiration date has been set for when the free promotion will end.
