Hydroidis gotten through farming the Vay Hek boss fight, found on the Oro star chart node on Earth. You need to be at least Mastery Rank 5 to access the mission, so grind out some other gear if you aren’t there yet. Once you are, head into the mission and progress until you spot Vay Hek. If you’re having trouble killing him, you’re waiting until his face is exposed to deal damage to him. Once you’ve dealt enough damage, he’ll retreat to a new location a few times before finally reaching the boss arena.The first phase of the fight goes the same. Wait for his face to be exposed, then shoot it. Eventually, he’ll reach a second phase where he gets intoa giant mech, at which point you can deal damage to him whenever you please. Deal enough damage, and he’ll bedefeated. Simplyextract from the mission, and you’ll have a chance to get one of Hydroid’s parts. Hydroid’sNeuroptics and Chassishave an equal38.72% chanceto drop, whilst theSystemsonly have a22.56% chanceof being rewarded.
