Requirements:
At the Autumn Village,Hinawill talk with the player about where they come from and how she once admired heroes so long ago and remembers her mother, before being interrupted bySuzuandKotarofighting over a doll nearby. Hina intervenes and says the only way to decide the owner of the doll was for the kids to rip the toy in two, which shocks the kids into an agreement to share instead. Hina proudly smiles and tells the player that it was one of her family’s tactics to solve conflicts.
Getting To Know Hina 1 (Nothing Beats Sweets)
WhileHinais settled inAutumn Village, the player notices that she always makes her way to theSpring Villageeach day, so they join her on this daily excursion to dine on some of Iroha’s famous dango. Hina mentions that she has a sweet tooth, though she isn’t a fan of veggies and is often seen at the Teahouse just for a taste. This is a shorter bonding scene. However, Hina has a longer wait than most characters as the next bonding quest won’t happen until you finishAct 2and revitalize theGod of the Oniand theGod of the Heavens.
Getting To Know Hina 2 (Off To The Underworld)
Hina can be found talking withKaiand asks theEarth Dancerto aid her in her next expedition with Kai to theunderworld. She claims she has a lead on important documents that could aid in solving the mystery ofViatreaand theCelestial Collapse. After agreeing, you travel to theUnderworld Gateand wait outside for Hina as Kai is busy showing her around and can’t allow the player in just yet due to the debris of Ura’s previous rebellion. Hina soon comes out and tells you to prepare for tomorrow at theDevil’s Bluff Tower.
What Fascinates an Archaeologist
The next day, you journey withHinaback to Devil’s Bluff Tower and explore with her to find the documents needed. Along the way, she reveals her intentions as a member ofSEED, in which all she does is for the peace and freedom ofAzuma. Despite locating the documents, when going over them withMauro, it’s revealed to be mostly older information. However, it is a step in the right direction for the player either way.
Getting To Know Hina 3 (A Lost Child)
Going to the Spring Village withHina,you learn thatSuzuhas gone missing, as Iroha hasn’t seen her for most of the day. Hina looks horrified and blames herself, as she was the one who told Suzu about how she would help her mother financially by selling items she would find in the wild. She begs the player to help her as they travel to the Spring Highlands. After searching,Kuramafinds Hina and the player to tell them that Suzu was found inWinter Villageat the fishery looking for work and wasn’t lost at all. Relieved, Hina heads back with the player to ensure Suzu was back home safely with Iroha before agreeing to meet with them again the next day.
AfterSuzuis home safely,Hinatakes you to a clearing where the stars are seen the most bright and laments about how things could’ve turned out so much worse if Suzu had been missing for real. The player and Hina talk and bond as she speaks about having a new hero whom she admires more than her original hero. When you question her, she hushes you and says it’s a secret just for her.

Confession to Hina
Hinawill take a moment to process and ask if you were just pranking her or being serious. After you confirm being serious about your feelings, she will blush and ask that you come to talk to her tomorrow for a proper answer so she can get her thoughts together.
Romance Quests
Feelings for Hina
Hinawill meet you at the designated area and ask if you remember her looking up to and admiring a hero. Your character will get jealous and explain that was exactly why they confessed when they did. Hina would laugh and agree she would do the same. She reveals that she admires you most of all and wants to be with you. If you choose to accept her feelings in return, you will begin a relationship with her and unlock morebonding eventsfor her romance.
Praying For Romantic Success
On the first date,Hinaleads the player toInari Shrine. It was said a couple would find everlasting happiness if they made it to the shrine without speaking and offering up a prayer. On the way there,Rinis attacked by monsters and teamed with Hina, you and she make quick work of the enemies and talk with Rin, realizing then that they failed the task for the shrine. Rin apologizes for ruining your date and hurries off, though the player and Hina still go to the shrine anyway, as not talking to the one they loved for just a prayer was miserable, and the date is salvaged.
The Appeal of Archaeology
For the next date,Hinatakes the player to the Limestone Caverns to share in her love of archeology with them. Inside the caverns, you locate old rune writings and some arrowheads, in which Hina recounts a tale from her beginner days of misinterpreting things out of context. The two of them muse over the items and wonder who came before, though the mystery is never solved, as Hina says they can always return and find more secrets someday.
Hina vs Vegetables
The last date withHinagets hijacked by a large shipment of veggies courtesy of Hina’s mother, who wants her daughter to eat well while away. She bemoans that she can’t stand veggies and most dishes with them; however, the player offers to cook with her and make a meal that she will enjoy. The two spend the date cooking together and make a meal that even Hina can enjoy, though at night they drop the rest of the crates of veggies off at Yachiyo’s, as Hina can’t possibly eat all of what her mother sent to her.Yachiyoteases her about her dislike of veggies and says it was just her mother’s way of still caring for her from far away.
Marriage Proposal
After you max out your intimacy withHinaand reach Bond Level 10,Woolbywill gift you with a specialRed Plum SaplingandDivine Spirit’s Recipe.Plant the Tree behind aDragon Shrineof yours and wait for it to bloom, then craft theDivine Spiritslike any other drink at a cooking station. Once you’re ready, invite Hina to theFateweaver Shrineto initiate the proposal.
Marriage Ceremony
A day after your proposal, you and your new spouse will receive congratulations on your wedding day throughout all the villages, and go through a traditional ceremony whereRinorKaguyawill oversee the ceremony at the shrine. Woolbywill help you end your vows. Ultimately, you will be able to update your nicknames to reflect your new marital status. You have now reached the end of this guide and have successfully romanced and marriedHina.As a bonus, you will receive the achievement:My marriage to Hina.
