However, if you already own the original Sonic Origins as the digital edition and just want all the new games and content from the Plus edition, you don’t have to buy it again, you can upgrade it. How to Get Sonic Origins Plus Upgrade
To upgrade Sonic Origins to Sonic Origins Plus, first, be sure to update your game to the 2.00 version. On most platforms, this process should be automatic, but you can check your game version or start the update manually if needed by going to “check for updates” on the game card.

Next, look up Sonic Origins in PlayStation Store, Microsoft Xbox Store, Nintendo Store, or Steam, and find the separate Sonic Origins Plus Expansion Pack – it is sold separately for $10.
By downloading this Expansion Pack your digital version of Sonic Origins will be upgraded to Sonic Origins Plus, including the new game icon, title screen, and all of the content that comes with the Plus version.
The only downside of upgrading the digital version is that you will miss out on the greatreversible coverin the physical edition as well as the brand new 20-page art book that comes with it, but as for the game content, it will be the same – all-newplayable charactersand12 Game Gear classic 8-bit Sonic gamesincluded.
