A Slight Delay, A Visual Upgrade
At first glance, it may look like a Final Fantasy XV spin-off, but Lost Soul Aside has nothing to do with Square Enix’s JRPG saga. This is thedebut project of UltiZero Games, a Chinese studio founded by Yang Bing in 2017 and supported by PlayStation’s China Hero Project.
After 8 long years since its announcement,Lost Soul Aside finally has a release date. The game launches onAugust 29simultaneously forPS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Store.
Originally scheduled for May, UltiZero Games chose to delay the game a bit to polish visuals. And it shows. Graphically, it has improved a lot compared to past trailers.
Its presentation looks spectacular, especially onPS5 Pro, as seen in the latest gameplay trailer. Despite its premium-like price, the studio insists this is adouble-A project, not a full-blown triple-A.

PlayStation and UltiZero Games dropped a new gameplay trailer, this time focused onKaser’s abilities.
