However, it seems now that the next big story will appear in the small screen and bleed in to the future MCU projects. Rumors suggest that Marvel is making theSecret Invasionstoryline.
For those who do not know, theSecret Invasionis one of the famousMarvel storylines.Shapeshifters known as Skrulls invade Earth and take the places of famous heroes.
TheSecret Invasionstoryline would be possible because Skrulls have already been introduced in the 2019 movieCaptain Marvel. The Skrulls also made an appearance in the surprise twist ending ofSpider-Man: Far From Homewhen they took the place of Nick Fury and Agent Maria Hill.
