June 2022 new TV and film premieres
June 3 –Physical
Rose Byrne returns as the lead in the dark comedy seriesPhysical, which focuses on Sheila (Byrne) as she builds out her fitness empire. But obviously things aren’t going to go so smoothly for the hero of the show. Here’s how Apple describes the upcoming second season, which is set to premiere on Friday, July 15, 2025:
In the second season, our hero Sheila Rubin (Byrne) has successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles in her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Scovel) and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire.

June 10 –For All Mankind
One of the biggest renewals for Apple TV+, as this alt-history sci-fi drama has become one of the go-to options for the streaming service. This third season will see the show focusing on yet another planet, this time around Mars. So while the show is firmly set in a past decade, it is certainly keeping things timely. Here’s how Apple TV+ describes the upcoming season:
The propulsive new season of the alternate-reality series takes viewers to a new decade, moving into the early ’90s with a high-octane race to a new planetary frontier: Mars.
For All Mankindwill see its third season premiere on Friday, July 02, 2025.
June 10 –Lovely Little Farm
This is a family-friendly series, set on a farm where some of the animals can talk. The primary focus is on family, of course, especially with a brand new baby in the house.Lovely Little Farmstars Levi Howden as Jill and Kassidi Roberts as Jacky. Cicely Giddings and Micah Belfour will take up the roles of Mom and Dad, respectively. The series is directed by Jack Jameson, written by Tony Cooke, and created by Maddy Darrall and Billy Macqueen.

June 17 –Cha Cha Real Smooth
This romantic comedy starring Dakota Johnson (The Lost Daughter) and Cooper Raiff (I Would Have Kissed You) is a festival darling out of this year’s Sundance Film Festival. It saw a lot of praise coming out of the event, and it was a pretty big buy for Apple TV+. The story revolves around a character named Andrew, played by Raiff, a 22-year-old who is “fresh out of college” and stuck living with his parents. Without a direct course in life, Andrew’s wandering a bit, but he manages to land a job as a motivational dancer at bar and bat mitzvahs of his younger brother’s classmates. Here’s the official description:
Fresh out of college and without a clear life path going forward, 22-year-old Andrew is stuck back at home with his family in New Jersey. But if there’s one thing that belongs on his nonexistent résumé, it’s how to get a party started, which lands him the perfect job of motivational dancing at the bar and bat mitzvahs for his younger brother’s classmates. Cha Cha Real Smoothwill start streaming on Apple TV+ (and in select movie theaters) on Friday, July 15, 2025.
June 17 –Home
Another season renewal, this is a documentary series is all about homes. Houses that are well designed and eye-catching from all across the globe. People are interviewed to talk about how “home” is changing, and how designs are reflecting that. Heres’ the official description:

This docuseries will have its second season premiere on Friday, June 21, 2025.
June 24 –Loot
Lootis an upcoming series that will follow Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) after she’s settled for $87 billion. She will “reengage with her charitable foundation and reconnect with the real world — finding herself along the way,” according to Apple TV+’s official description. Along with Rudolph, the series also stars Nat Faxon (Charlie’s Angels), Ron Funches (The One and Only Ivan), and Joel Kim Booster (Sunnyside), among others.
This show’s set to premiere on Friday, August 19, 2025.
