Owlcat Games and publisher META have announced Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will be coming to consoles on March 1st 2022.
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Console Release Confirmed for March 1st 2022
Developer Owlcat Games and publisher META have now unveiled the release date for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous console versions, releasing onMarch 1st 2022. The upcoming CRPG is set to launch on PC first in September, with console versions for Playstation 4 and Xbox One releasing next year. To celebrate the announcement a new trailer was revealed during Microsoft’s Twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox, which unveiled the main villain as well as the companion cast that will help them on their journey. There were also new details about new characters, gameplay mechanics and mythic transformations.
In order to battle the demonic invasion, players can choose a mythic path that will grant their characters a unique set of skills as well as a distinct narrative arc, leading to their mythic transformation. As players will take on the role of Commander, characters can become a celestialAngel, a ragingDemon, a powerfulLich, a cunningTrickster, an otherworldlyAeon, a rebelliousAzata, a wiseGold Dragon, an insatiableSwarm That Walks— or remain mortal and walk the arduous path toward becoming a livingLegend. By taking one of these paths,Mythic Transformationscan allow characters to rise in the ranks, earning newSkillsandMythic Abilities, as well as affecting the world around them suchDrezen, the biggest fortress in the game.
You can check out the new trailer below which showcases crusade mode, mounted combat, and tactical combat game mechanics. In Crusade Mode players can select their general, change the size of their army and explore the map of the world.
Previously Owlcat Games revealed plans forPathfinder Wrath of the Righteous DLCwhich will contain two storyDLCs and a roguelike mode DLC which will be included in the Season Pass.
