The most basic and widely used tool for catching wild Pokémon, with 50 provided when you first create an account.

Great Ball
“A good, high-performance Poké Ball that provides a higher catch rate than a standard Poké Ball.”
The Great Ball is an enhanced Poké Ball that boosts a Trainer’s likelihood of catching a Pokémon by 50%.

Ultra Ball
“An ultra-high performance Poké Ball that provides a higher Pokémon catch rate than a Great Ball.”
The Ultra Ball is a top-tier Poké Ball that significantly increases the Trainer’s probability of capturing a Pokémon, doubling their chances.

Premier Ball
“A somewhat rare Poké Ball made to commemorate a special occasion of some sort.”
The Premier Ball is a distinct Poké Ball provided exclusively for capturing a Raid Boss during a Bonus Challenge following a successful Raid Battle, or a Shadow Pokémon after overcoming a Team GO Rocket member. Unused Premier Balls are discarded after the capture attempt. The catch rate for the Premier Ball is typically equivalent to that of a standard Poké Ball.

Master Ball
“The best Poké Ball with the ultimate level of performance. With it, you will catch any wild Pokémon without fail.”
The Master Ball is a unique Poké Ball that guarantees a successful capture of any Pokémon without fail. A special cutscene is triggered upon its use. It became available as part of the 5th installment of the Let’s GO! Special Research on May 22nd, 2023.
Beast Ball
“An ultra-performance ball with a higher catch rate than a Great Ball.”
The Beast Ball is a unique Poké Ball designed specifically for capturing Ultra Beasts during special encounters. Similar to Premier Balls, any Beast Balls not used during the attempt are discarded afterward.
