As we draw ever closer to Pokemon GoFest 2021, there’s a lot to get excited about. There’s theSolstice event, newSpotlight Hours, and even the chance to catch yourself adeadly Shadow Ho-Oh!
If you’re looking for something a little more humble than this terrifying Legendary phoenix, though, the Normal-type beaver Pokemon Bidoof is getting its own event at the end of the month: the Bidoof Breakout event.
So if you want to snag yourself an adorable collection of furry friends, then here’s everything you need to know about Bidoof Breakout, including information on that elusive Shiny Bidoof.
Pokemon Go Bidoof Breakout start date & time
Just in time to close out the month, the Bidoof Breakout event will begin onFriday, June 25 at 10AMand run untilThursday, July 1 at 8PMlocal time.
We’ve heard reports that the amount of Bidoof appearing across the map will increase as the event progresses, so be prepared for a total Bidoof takeover as we head towards the end of the event!
Pokemon Go Bidoof Breakout new moves
Throughout the event, you’ll be able to encounter Bidoof that have some exciting new moves they normally can’t learn. From Ice-type moves to Ghost-type moves, these Bidoof certainly know their stuff.

If you don’t manage to catch a Bidoof with the move you want on those days, you can use aCharged TMon Thursday, July 1 between 10AM and 8PM to teach it any of the three moves above.
