Rise of the Roninhas launched on PC with an unfortunate hiccup: The version is plagued by a critical programming error that is deleting players' save files.

Rise of the Ronin PC Release Plagued by Critical Bug

Rise of the Ronin, the open-world action game that Team Ninja delighted us with last year on PS5, is now available on PC. However, things don’t seem to be going smoothly with the port, as technical issues have led to a flood of user complaints. As a result, the game currently holds only a 50% positive review score on Steam from over 2,000 reviews. The PS5 version of the game got a quite positive 8.4 review from Fextralife last year.

Since its release, several users on Steam forums have reported a bug that causes their save files to disappear completely, forcing them to restart their adventure from scratch. This has led to widespread frustration, especially among those who have already invested over 10 or 15 hours into the game.
