One of the longest (and most underrated) action movie franchises is about to enter its 12th installment. The likes of James Bond, theFast and Furious, and more have delighted audiences for years and years with their ever-growing lore and multiple sequels, but many action fans continue to sleep on theSniperseries. Now, following the release of the 11th outing,Sniper: The Last Standearlier this year, lead actorChad Michael Collinshas now revealed that another explosive installment in the SniperVerse is already locked and loaded.
Thanking fans for their ongoing support, Collins took to X/Twitter to make the announcement. Appearing on the set of the newSnipermovie, and looking like he’s already seen plenty of action, the actor revealed that the next chapter in the ongoing saga, which first started all the way back in 1993with the Tom Berenger-ledSniper, is already “halfway through production.”
