For the past few arcs, Eiichiro Oda’sOne Piecehas introduced some of the most dangerous villains within the series. From the Strongest Creature in the world (Kaido) to the biggest power in the World Government (Five Elders), these villains have increased the scales of danger to the next level. And while the Straw Hat Pirates have managed to beat them all, they have struggled a lot and barely managed to get out of some situations.

Thus, it is safe to say that they need more power-ups from the members of the crew who have yet to prove themselves. Aside from Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, there are still a few members of the crew who have yet to receive a power-up. And the power-up at least needs to be Conqueror’s Haki for the Straw Hat Pirates to balance the scale with the upcoming villains inOne Piece.
According to aOne Piecetheory, the next Straw Hat Pirate to awaken their Conqueror’s Haki will be none other than Usopp, the sniper of the crew. But if this happens, it will prove to be another moment of injustice for Sanji, who ideally is the next in line to receive a Conqueror’s Haki power-up inOne Piece.

One Piecetheory claims Usopp will awaken his Conqueror’s Haki
According to aOne Piecetheory posted by@tamirsverseon YouTube, among the Straw Hat Pirates, five members of the crew will awaken their Conqueror’s Haki. These members include Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Jinbe, and Usopp. As Luffy and Zoro have already awakened their Conqueror’s Haki, the next in line is Usopp, the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates.
‘Him being Roger’s son doesn’t really change much’: Oda Has Already Rejected the Chosen One Trope in One Piece With Ace That You’re Too Blind to See
This assumption comes from the fact that all the lies that Usopp has essentially told inOne Piecehave,in some way or another, become a reality. There are many instances that prove this speculation, and during Wano he lied about having Conqueror’s Haki. Thus, it is safe to assume that Usopp might be the next Straw Hat Pirate to awaken his Conqueror’s Haki.
Also, the current ongoing arc in theOne Piecemanga, Elbaph holds a special significance in Usopp’s life. It further adds to the substance of theOne Piecetheory and makes it more believable. He is destined to get a power-up in Elbaph, and the best power-up in the series is definitely the awakening of the Conqueror’s Haki.

Usopp’s awakening will be bad for Sanji
If the above-mentioned theory holds any credence and does turn out to be true, it will further damage the character development of Sanji, the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates inOne Piece.Ideally, after Luffy and Zoro, Sanji should be the one to awaken his Conqueror’s Haki, considering he is next in line in terms of power and strength among the Straw Hat Pirates.
However, Sanji’s character development has always been undermined byEiichiro Oda. Fans of theOne Piececharacter believe thatSanji has always suffered injusticewithin the narrative in many different aspects, and if Usopp also goes past Sanji by awakening Conqueror’s Haki, it will send Sanji fans into a meltdown.

Oda, Please Don’t Do It: One Piece Bringing Back a Dead Character Will Absolutely Decimate the Straw Hat Pirate With the Weakest Back Story
This is why Oda needs to sort out the power scaling between the Straw Hat Pirates and ensure that every character receives a power-up that fits perfectly with their development within the narrative. It will all be made clear in a few chapters, and fans will have to wait and see how Oda handles this difficult situation inOne Piece.
