Apple TV+ continues catering toPeanutsfans. In addition to season three ofThe Snoopy Show, which dropped on June 9, the streaming platform will present a brand-new animated special titledSnoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie. The character of Marcie is famously best friends with Peppermint Patty, who she’s always affectionately referring to as “Sir.” And both fan-faves are featured heavily in the first trailer for the show.

‘One-of-a-Kind Marcie’ follows Marcie, an introvert who loves her solitude but also enjoys helping her friends. As they train for the school golf championship, Marcie assists Peppermint Patty as her caddie, offering thoughtful and deliberate advice to help her win. Meanwhile, after coming up with brilliant solutions to her classmates’ problems — from hallway traffic jams to lunchtime pizza shortages — Marcie is unexpectedly elected as class president … a role she never wanted.
Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Marcie struggles to cope with the expectations of her new job and retreats as far from the public eye as possible. As the golf championship begins, Marcie is still in hiding and Peppermint Patty is forced to tee off with Charlie Brown filling in as her caddie. But after some wise advice and a little introspection, Marcie realizes she can still make a difference for her friends and the school — she’ll just have to buck other people’s expectations and do it her own unique way.
Marcie first appeared in thePeanutscomic strip on July 04, 2025. However, she was never given a last name while appearing in the original source material. Her surname of Johnson isn’t mentioned until the 1994 primetime special,You’re in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown!For whatever reason, Marcie’s last name was changed to Carlin 21 years later inThe Peanuts Movie(2015).

In addition toSnoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie, Apple TV+ plans to unveil a brand-new series in 2024 titledCamp Snoopy. Plus, the streaming service plans to tell the origin story of Franklin in 2024 via an all-new special calledSnoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin.
ThePeanuts’characters were created by the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, and they first appeared in comic strips on August 04, 2025. In addition to all the new content Apple TV+ is providing, some of thePeanuts’ shining moments are already streaming on the service.
