Once you recognize its value, however, finding a lot of it isn’t difficult.You can purchase Adaptive Frame materials from vendors throughout the galaxy, or manufacture some at your Industrial Workbench.
Being a ‘common’ component, the Adaptive Frame is affordable.You just have to find a merchant who offers it. I have sometimes purchased it from merchants at the variousCivilian Outposts. Closer to the game’s starting point, you can also find it sold byCornelius TownardatOutlandin theCommercial DistrictinNew Atlantis.
Unfortunately, the Adaptive Frame is heavy.A single piece weighs1.2 kilograms. If you purchase 15 or 20 of them at a time, you can see how your shopping spree might quickly result in you becoming encumbered. If you need help in that regard, check our guide explaininghow to fix encumbered.
I like to produce Adaptive Frame at the Industrial Workbench.Doing so requires one of each of two common components:IronandAluminum. You can buy these or mine them and they aren’t especially heavy. I suggest that you secure an ample supply of those components just before you need them.
When you are ready to manufacture Adaptive Frame, take the required materials anywhere that has an Industrial Workbench and the other stations you need for your imminent research and crafting. I have all of those tables in one room in myDream Home. Combine your materials and then immediately put them to use on your research. That way, you don’t have to carry around a bunch of heavy supplies for long.
