With the new Stardew Valley 1.6 update, fans are eager to know about where to find this mysterious Bookseller. They appear somewhere in town, but what do they sell and how can you find them?
Stardew Valley: Where to find the Bookseller
Whether you start anew world for 1.6or jump into an old one, a Bookseller will appear in towntwice a season. Check your calendar for each date, it’s notified by a little air balloon icon. On that day you may find the Bookseller in Stardew Valley justabove Joja Mart up the stairs. Behind Joja Mart is a set of wooden stairs that you can climb.
Up those stairs is theBooksellerwith their fancy hot air balloon and cute shop. These aren’t just books for fun, these are books thatteach you important skills! Here are all the books we know of so far you can purchase:

Once you purchase a book, hold it in your hands andright-click to read it.You’ll automatically gain whichever skill is in that book. You won’t see all these books available from the start of your game, you’ll only see about six available. As you start to purchase more books, others will become available.
I’m also not quite sure whether or not you’re allowed to use the hot air balloon. All this Bookseller does is, well, sell books. But I keep looking at the hot air balloon wanting a ride. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the Bookseller ever offers a ride.

Although all these new features are exciting, what if you play with mods? Luckily, there are some easy ways toupdate your Stardew Valley modsfor this 1.6 update.
