“It’s kind of a conclusion of six films, X-Men 1, 2, 3, as well as First Class and Days of Future Past, and yet a potential rebirth of younger, newer characters. Even my father, who’s 85, called me and said, ‘Is this the last one?’ I said, ‘Well, it’s not going to be the last X-Men, I can promise you that, Dad.’ But it does have a kind of conclusive aspect to it.”

It is noted that the contracts for this latest trilogy’s four main leads all expire withX-Men: Apocalypse, which includesJennifer Lawrence(Mystique),James McAvoy(Professor X),Michael Fassbender(Magneto), andNicholas Hoult(Beast). But it might not be their last turn at bat. About coming back for more,McAvoyhad this to say.

“Even if this is the last one for me or for other people, you just are sort of grateful for the experience,. I know I can speak for a lot of the other guys as well that it’s been a really positive experience for us professionally and socially and personally.”

As of right now, the three men all say they are eager to return. ButJennifer Lawrencemight be the one hold out. And it could be blamed on the blue paint she is required to wear asMystique. Fans will notice she appears more in the flesh as Raven this time out. While she says she would ‘love’ to come back, there are more important ways for her to spend her time during the year, indicating that she has better things to do. She explains.

“I would love to come back…You realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is…I don’t know…I shouldn’t be that honest.”

There are several new Mutants inX-Men: Apocalypse. All of whom are expected to return inX-Men 7, which will take place in the 90s and is said to partially happen in outer space. These actors were chosen extremely carefully, as the franchise rests on their shoulders now.Sophie Turner(Jean Grey),Tye Sheridan(Cyclops) andAlexandra Shipp(Storm) are all said to be signed onto at least two more movies. And it is rumored that one of those might beThe New Mutants, though none of those three characters are said to be the leads in that spinoff.
